Our mission
We are on a journey to create a global education institution, which believes in the individual and the power of technology and lifelong learning and mentoring.
We nurture well-rounded and engaged learners, equipped to understand the world around them.
We enable our learners to initiate and implement positive change, by promoting sincere-thinking and a life lived with integrity. We provide personalised, experiential learning grounded creativity, social responsibility, and life-long intellectual exploration.
Founded by Andrew Gray, an innovative lawyer and father of two, The HIA is on a mission to be an education provider that both children and adults are proud to attend.
Since 2007 we have helped over 1000 students and have two academies in two countries, with more set to open.

We nurture creative expression and use technology, including AI, to prime our students to be adaptive, prepared for a fast-moving world with its complex problems.

Sustainability
We believe in sustainability and preserving the environment. The Harrogate International Academy owns Broadoak Wood, three acres of woodland near Doncaster that we keep wild in order to preserve the local ecosystem.
We avoid unnecessary paper usage and seek to utilise technology to reduce our own impact on the environment where possible.
