Keith Kinsella

(Mentor - Online)

I am a qualified teacher, mental health worker and wellbeing coach. I worked in UK schools between 2006-12 teaching sociology, psychology, history and literacy. In 2012 I moved into university outreach, working with myriad stakeholders to advance social mobility and attainment in London. In this role I acted as a consultant to local schools and government, and developed projects aimed at raising achievement and aspirations. Between 2015-20 I continued my university career managing a large college at a Russell Group University. Since 2020 I have mainly worked as a freelance English teacher, university consultant and mentor.

I originally studied Politics and Sociology at the University of York, before pursuing postgraduate qualifications in mental health, and then a PGCE with QTS in social sciences. I hold an MA in Education from UCL, with experience of teaching both in the UK and internationally. In 2020 I completed a diploma in counselling skills.
