Zoe Manners
KS1, KS2, KS3 Teacher in Harrogate
Having been working in schools and education settings since 2010 after graduation in Printed Textiles in 2009, I embarked on my education journey starting out as a teaching assistant. In 2014 I studied a PGCE in Primary Teaching graduating in 2015. In the Septemer of this year I began working as a Year 4 and 5 Primary school teacher in an inner city school. As well as teaching a class of 30+ children, I also lead the Design Technology subject for the school, managing lesson plans and ordering equipment needed for those lessons.
In 2019 I decided to widen my experience and began working as a supply teacher in a range of schools across Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Harrogate on longer term projects in both Key Stage 1 and 2.
Over the Covid period I worked on both supply and as an online tutor focusing on plugging gaps in children’s knowledge, specialising in Maths and focusing on teaching strategies to help learners to be successful.
Across the last four years I have built up a bank of experience working as a tutor in a range Primary Schools and alternative provisions. My main aim is to equip children with a range of Maths learning strategies and techniques, supporting them to eventually become more independent, helping them to achieve their goals and dreams.
