At The Harrogate International Academy, we have a group of highly qualified teachers dedicated to helping students thrive in English and Maths.
Not only are our tutors subject specialists, but they are experienced in developing the confidence young people need in order to thrive in their academic studies.
All of our tutors are fully qualified teachers and DBS checked, ensuring a safe and supportive learning experience for every student.
Primary Tutors

I'm an experienced primary teacher of 25 years, specializing in KS1-3, with a passion for maths, reading, and building confidence. I'm a dedicated tutor and school governor who loves cricket, singing, and Manchester City!
KS2 | KS3
I'm a primary teacher with a PGCE since 2015, specialising in Maths and Design Technology. I’ve taught in classrooms and online, passionate about helping children achieve their goals. I love design and creativity.
Secondary Tutors
Maths: KS4 | KS5
I transitioned from investment banking to teaching secondary mathematics. Now, I focus on tutoring, building strong relationships with students. I also enjoy cooking, learning about wine, and staying fit.
English: KS4 | KS5
I'm an English teacher with over 30 years of experience, focused on student growth. I create engaging lessons and tailor plans for exam success. I also hold a CELTA qualification. I enjoy reading, theatre, and travel.

I'm a qualified teacher, mental health worker, and wellbeing coach. I've taught in UK schools, worked in university outreach to advance social mobility, and now focus on freelance teaching, consulting, and mentoring.

I was a lawyer until 2024, founding and selling two law firms. Now, I focus on uniting top teachers to educate students. Passionate about tech in education, I'm also learning Spanish to understand language learning.
